This is a great website! I would love to make it "home" for the celebration this Summer, but unfortunately, will be working. I hope it goes well, and a lot of people attend. There are some people I'd definitely love to reconnect with.

I need someone that can cut the grass on my property every second week during the summer.
Any garden services in Govan?

Hoping to get to town for the 100th this summer. I lived in Govan three short years (1988-1991) but have very fond and vivid memories of my time there.

My Dad's name was David Gordon Govan. He was born in Lexington, MA. I had no idea there was a town named Govan. What fun this discovery was!

Neat web site! I drove through govan about 16 years ago with my parents. My dads dad( Aubrey wright ) grewup there and dad wanted to check it out and see where grandpa was from. I remember that day really well. I don't know what was going on at the time, but the town was empty that day! We didn't see a single car or person for that matter, and everything was closed. My dad used a payphone that was outside the postoffice( I think that's where the phone was) to call grandpa and ask which house was his. By grandpa's description we were pretty sure we found it. Anyways, great site, it brought backache great family vacation memory.
Ps I always wondered where everyone was, the town was so quiet that day it seemed like a ghost town.
